Social Worker - Safeguarding Team within Kingston and Richmond (UK), earning £39.04 hourly. This locum position spans 3 months full time and offers an incredible chance to immerse yourself in meaningful work within a supportive team. Your role will be integral to safeguarding children and families in the Kingston and Richmond area, offering you the perfect blend of professional challenge and personal satisfaction.

Based in the Kingston office, this role includes working in Child Protection, CIN, PLO pre-proceedings, Court work until the final order, and CLA. A must is the ability to commit to 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with at least 3 days based in the office. This structure allows for both collaboration and focused individual work.

What you will do:

• Conduct in-depth assessments and implement safeguarding measures for at-risk children and families.
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to deliver comprehensive care and protection plans.
• Manage Child Protection, CIN, and PLO pre-proceedings cases efficiently and with empathy.
• Prepare and present court reports, ensuring all legal requirements are met until the final order.
• Work closely with children looked after (CLA) to ensure their ongoing safety and wellbeing.
