Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Construction Assurance Managers to join a high-profile rail infrastructure programme in London. This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of one of the UK's most ambitious transport projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure construction activities meet strict compliance, assurance, and quality standards in accordance with NEC3 contractual frameworks.
The Construction Assurance Manager will work at the heart of the delivery team, contributing constructability expertise and assurance oversight throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality obligations are met, while supporting collaborative delivery across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert constructability support and advice to the NEC3 Project Manager throughout all stages of the construction lifecycle.
- Act as a key interface between the NEC3 Supervisor, Compliance and Assurance Manager, and Stakeholder & Interfaces Manager to ensure seamless delivery and collaboration.
- Undertake risk-based assessments to assure the constructability, safety, and integrity of works in line with HS2 requirements.
- Ensure construction activities comply with health and safety, quality, environmental, and Undertakings & Assurance obligations.
- As a Construction Assurance Manager, monitor and report on contractor performance, highlight non-conformances, and drive improvements in delivery standards.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven background in construction assurance, project supervision, or compliance roles within major infrastructure or rail projects.
- Strong understanding of NEC3 contract frameworks, ideally on a regulated infrastructure programme.
- Demonstrable experience in managing construction compliance, risk-based assurance, and quality assurance processes.
- Solid knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and experience working within multi-disciplinary teams, particularly in a Construction Assurance Manager capacity.
