What you will do:
- Be professionally and legally accountable for your own and delegated work, ensuring that all tasks meet the highest standards.
- Work within codes of practice and adhere to professional guidelines as a qualified physiotherapist.
- Undertake thorough holistic assessments, employing specialist clinical reasoning skills, especially for complex presentations and multi-pathologies.
- Utilise evidence-based practices to ensure that clinical care is both effective and appropriate.
- Promote patient independence, facilitate recovery, and encourage rehabilitation.
- Prevent hospital admissions where possible, reduce inpatient stays, and ensure care is delivered in the right setting, applying the Home First model of care.
- Organise and manage your own time effectively, delegating responsibilities where appropriate.
- Conduct necessary risk assessments, escalating any changes or newly identified risks as needed.
- Ensure patient and carer consent is obtained for all interventions, promoting open and effective communication.

Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Recent experience in specialised physiotherapy within the UK.
- Registration with the HCPC as a physiotherapist, allowing you to work in the UK.
- NHS experience is advantageous but not essential.
