Transport Planner
Duration: Temporary – 2 weeks
Location: Crewe
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Pay Rate: £13 - £16 per hour
Immediate Start
Key Duties:
- Plan and schedule daily transport routes for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party carriers
- Monitor deliveries and resolve any issues or delays in a timely manner
- Update and maintain transport management systems and records
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external customers
- Support the wider logistics or operations team with administrative tasks as required
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of transport and logistics planning
- Proficient in using Transport Management Systems
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
