We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Team in Oldham, where your expertise will play a key role in protecting children and families at risk. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for safeguarding referrals into the MASH.

• Work collaboratively in a co-located multi-agency team, including Greater Manchester Police, Health, Education, and Community Safety representatives.

• Undertake rapid assessments to identify risks and determine thresholds for intervention.

• Engage with children, families, and professionals to gather essential information.

• Make evidence-based decisions to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.

• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with statutory obligations.

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

• Proven experience in child protection, MASH, or frontline safeguarding roles.
