What you will do:
- Provide assessments and a full range of podiatry treatments to clients across community and outreach clinics, hospitals, clients' homes, health centres, care homes, and day centres.
- Conduct wound dressings and scalpel debridement of nail and soft tissue pathologies.
- Care for foot problems resulting from neglect and lack of self-care.
- Work autonomously as a practitioner, developing and agreeing on treatment plans with clients, with support from senior staff as needed.
- Take responsibility for the protection of health and wellbeing of all clients and alert others to concerns when protection may be required, especially for children and vulnerable adults.
- Refer clients appropriately to specialist teams within the department and to primary care, community, or acute care for investigation, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Deal sensitively and appropriately with a client caseload with complex health needs, assisting individuals in managing their health needs effectively.
- Collaborate with primary, secondary, and community care teams to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to improving foot pathology.

Requirements of the Podiatrist:
- Qualified podiatrist with a degree or equivalent in Podiatry.
- Recent experience within podiatry is desirable.
- Registration with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK.
- NHS experience is advantageous but not essential.
