Social Work Team Manager – Children in Care Team – Gavering, UK – £45.20 per hour – Ongoing, Full-time

What you will do:

Manage a caseload of complex and challenging cases, providing your expertise in care proceedings and children looked after.

Support the Group Manager in maintaining and developing high standards across the Children in Care Team.

Represent the service in developing key service provision and strategic initiatives, influencing positive change.

Provide leadership through coaching and mentoring within the team, ensuring effective case management and high-quality written work.

You'll be part of a well-supported team environment, with access to two permanent consultant social workers, systemic practitioners, and robust HR support. The team layout includes every resource you need for success, including an Assistant Practitioner dedicated to complex casework support.
Working Model:

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need Social Work England registration and a minimum of 2 years' experience in social work with children and families, including assessments and statutory work.
