Job Title: Senior Social Worker within Safeguarding Team

What you will do:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and manage a variety of cases within the Children in Need (CIN), Domestic Abuse, and Child Protection (CP) spheres.
  • Develop and implement individual protection plans effectively to safeguard children while keeping families together whenever possible.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, utilising a systemic approach to derive solutions for complex cases.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge to progress CIN/CP protection plans and improve outcomes for children and their families.
  • Engage with children and families face-to-face to conduct comprehensive assessments and offer continuous support.

Our new Safeguarding Teams focus extensively on children's safety and welfare, and we need experienced social workers like you to join us in this vital mission. With at least two years of experience in social work involving children and families, assessment, and statutory work, you'll find our supportive team environment invigorating and fulfilling.
