What you will do:
• Provide foster carer supervisions and ongoing support to carers, ensuring their needs are met and they can provide the best level of care.
• Complete high-quality carer annual reviews, ensuring standards are maintained and developed.
• Conduct unannounced visits to foster carers, promoting accountability and care quality.
• Attend necessary meetings such as child in care reviews and risk assessment meetings to advocate for the best interests of the children.
• Present cases to the fostering panel as required, showcasing your capacity to manage cases thoroughly and effectively.
• Facilitate foster carer support groups, promoting community and shared learning among carers.
• Work closely with childcare teams and other professionals to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children is prioritised and maintained.
