What you will do:
- Complete comprehensive holistic assessments to determine the most suitable bespoke equipment, major adaptations, and moving and handling equipment for children.
- Provide thorough and concise reports, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with children's services and health/hospital colleagues.
- Manage a caseload effectively, demonstrating excellent communication skills and empathy towards families and children.
- Conduct safety assessments to ensure adaptations and equipment meet the highest safety standards, thereby protecting the wellbeing of children.
- Drive city-wide, occasionally adjusting your schedule for visits before or after school hours to suit the needs of families.
- Uphold Manchester’s core values in every interaction, contributing to a supportive and dynamic work environment.
