What you will do:

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in the looked after system and those transitioning to independence.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans to support the physical, emotional, and social development of each child and young person.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Conduct regular visits and assessments to monitor the progress and wellbeing of children and care leavers.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to foster carers and families, assisting them in creating stable, nurturing environments.
  • Prepare and present detailed case reports for court proceedings and reviews as required.
