What you will do:
- Conduct mental health act assessments to evaluate and ascertain whether individuals should be detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and adults through effective safeguarding and rapid emergency response during critical situations.
- Carry out assessments under the Care Act to evaluate individual needs and determine eligibility for care and support services.
- Coordinate and work closely with police, healthcare providers, and other agencies to adeptly manage complex cases and ensure seamless inter-agency collaboration.
- Initiate emergency legal proceedings by making timely court applications to safeguard individuals at risk.
- Exercise independent decision-making during unsocial hours, navigating high-pressure situations with confidence and competence.
