Quality Advisor – Severn Trent Region
Location: Severn Trent Water Region
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of an Engineering business operating within the Severn Trent Water region, seeking to appoint a Quality Advisor to support construction projects across the framework.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Head of SHEQ and will be responsible for supporting the delivery of quality assurance and compliance across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and execute the internal quality audit programme, in conjunction with the Regional Quality Lead

Provide support to ensure all quality project documentation is completed and retained in line with company procedures, legal and client requirements

Monitor and support onsite quality installation standards in line with company and client expectations

Assist in managing the Integrated Management System, supporting Lean implementation and continuous improvement of processes, forms, and guidance

Conduct quality investigations and root cause analysis to implement effective corrective actions

Support the SHEQ team in producing communications and delivering classroom training on quality topics

Promote internal quality systems and support quality awareness across the business

Provide advice on quality issues and promote understanding of the Integrated Management System and its benefits

Promote a positive quality culture and facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Maintain professional development through external networking and industry engagement

Represent the business professionally, maintaining positive relationships internally and externally

Maintain appropriate confidentiality and carry out any other duties consistent with the role
Essential Criteria
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
-
Ability to drive within the Severn Trent Water region
-
Internal QMS Auditor (IRQA)
-
Previous experience as a Quality Advisor

Construction delivery background
Desirable Criteria
-
Background in the water/wastewater industry
-
EUSR SHEA Water card
-
PCQI membership
-
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification
