Key Stage 1 Teacher in Darlaston

This full-time role starts immediately and will continue until July, with the potential to extend into September. You will be working as a Class Teacher in a Year 2 setting with full planning responsibilities.

Job Role:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Full Class Teacher responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
• Work closely with support staff and the wider school team
• Maintain excellent behaviour management strategies
• Track and monitor pupil progress across Key Stage 1 (KS1)
• Ensure a safe, inclusive and motivating learning environment

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience as a Primary Teacher, KS1 Teacher, KS2 Teacher or similar
• Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) National Curriculum
• Proven skills in managing behaviour effectively
• Confident in planning, preparing and delivering full lessons independently
• Experience working in a 1-form entry Primary School desirable
