Reception Teacher in Brownhills, West Midlands

We are recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Brownhills. This two-form entry school has been rated GOOD by Ofsted and is known for its strong community values and nurturing Early Years provision. This is a full-time role starting in September on an ongoing basis and involves full class responsibilities, including planning and marking. The school prides itself on supporting professional development and fostering a collaborative teaching environment.

Reception Teacher – Job Role:

• Full class responsibilities including planning and marking
• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Tracking and assessing pupil progress against early learning goals
• Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Working collaboratively with the other Reception Class Teacher

Required Skills and Experience:

• Reception Teacher, Early Years Teacher, EYFS Teacher, Primary Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Proven experience in an EYFS or Reception setting
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a two-form entry Primary School
