Are you a specialist who uses software and engineering principles to simulate and analyse the movement of water through natural and man-made systems, to support infrastructure planning, flood risk management, wastewater and stormwater system design, and environmental protection?

On behalf of a leading engineering consultancy with a strong presence across Ireland and the UK, I am seeking a Hydraulic Modeller or Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join an established and growing wastewater infrastructure team. This is a hybrid role offering excellent flexibility and the chance to be based out of one of several key regional offices.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects, including wastewater catchment strategies, storm overflow reduction plans, and flood alleviation schemes. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team known for its innovation, technical excellence, and supportive culture.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of wastewater and stormwater projects, from strategy development to solution implementation.
• Undertake hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
• Ensure high-quality outputs and compliance with relevant standards.
• Support or lead elements of project management, including client liaison and tender responses.
• Mentor and support junior staff within the team.
• Contribute to continuous technical improvement and innovation across projects.

 Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development.
• In-depth understanding of Irish and UK water industry regulations and frameworks.
• Proficiency with InfoWorks ICM and ideally ICM Exchange.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
• Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.
