Year 1 Teacher in Gloucester, South West

A Primary Teacher is required for a GOOD rated Primary School in Tuffley. This exciting opportunity is to join a supportive and welcoming school community as a Class Teacher for a Year 1 class. This full-time role runs is for the Summer Term until the end of the academic year and would suit a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher with excellent behaviour management and a sound understanding of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) National Curriculum.
Job Role:
- Full Class Teacher responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
- Teaching a Year 1 class within the KS1 phase
- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community
- Upholding high standards of behaviour and learning
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a Primary Teacher, KS1 Teacher, or Year 1 Teacher
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Ability to deliver well-planned and effective lessons
- Proven track record of excellent behaviour management
- Previous experience in a similar Primary School setting
