What you will do:

  • Manage a complex caseload involving children who are subject to Child Protection plans, Child in Need plans, and those undergoing care proceedings, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to social workers and child practitioners, guiding them in their professional development and enhancing team performance.
  • Collaborate closely with partner agencies to deliver effective safeguarding practices and foster integrated service delivery.
  • Contribute to quality assurance by engaging in service development and improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports for court proceedings, representing the local authority professionally and accurately.
