The Role As a Process Operative, you will play a vital part in the production team, ensuring smooth operation of the mill and extrusion processes. You’ll be hands-on with machinery, responsible for technical checks, and maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and quality.Key Responsibilities: Running the mill, including loading bulk materials via FLT and adding hand-fed ingredients for grinding and transfer to extrusion. Operating the extruder, dryer, coater, cooler, and bulk storage systems. Carrying out technical checks and accurately recording results. Managing capture, segregation, and transfer of waste for rework. Following “clean as you go” procedures and undertaking wider site cleaning as required. About You We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are eager to learn and take pride in their work.Skills & Experience: Previous experience in mill or extrusion processes (preferred). FLT licence desirable. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexible and willing to work 6am – 6pm shifts (days/nights).
