Temporary Accounts AssistantLocation:Winsford, Cheshire Pay Rate:£15.00 per hour DOE Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm Contract:Temporary OngoingThe Role:We’re currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a growing business and provide support across the day-to-day finance function. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience within an SME or fast-paced environment who enjoys working across a broad range of finance duties.Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll play an important role in keeping accounts accurate, organised and up to date, while supporting with a variety of finance tasks and assisting with preparations for the annual financial audit.Key Responsibilities: Complete regular bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure financial records remain accurateSupport the day-to-day purchase ledger function, including processing invoices, maintaining supplier accounts and keeping records accurate and up to dateAssist with preparing financial information, records and supporting documentation required for the audit processMaintain accurate, organised and reliable financial records, identifying discrepancies and taking appropriate action to resolve themProvide support across the wider finance function, assisting with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks as required About You: Confident working with numbers and have strong attention to detailWell organised and able to manage your own workload and priorities effectivelyPractical experience with bank reconciliations and purchase ledgerConfident using accounting systems and ExcelComfortable investigating and resolving discrepancies independentlyPrevious experience supporting with year-end accounts or financial audit preparationExperience working within an SME or growing business, with exposure to a range of finance duties Interested?
