Mental Capacity & Legal Duties Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and make Best Interests decisions in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Prepare reports for the Court of Protection where required, ensuring full legislative compliance. Safeguarding Lead and participate in safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act. Promote independence while effectively assessing and managing risk. Multi-Agency Collaboration Work collaboratively with health professionals, housing services, and other partner agencies to deliver coordinated care. Support smooth transitions from Children’s Services to Adult Services, enabling access to employment, education, and community resources. Case Management Manage a varied caseload, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements and council policies.
