What you will do Perform biochemistry laboratory testing and analysis to aid in critical diagnostic processes.Process and analyse patient samples with precision and care.Operate and maintain sophisticated biochemistry analysers to ensure optimal performance.Validate and authorise laboratory results, maintaining rigorous quality standards.Uphold quality control and quality assurance measures, supporting a reliable Biochemistry service.Maintain accurate and thorough laboratory records and documentation.Engage in service development and continuous improvement activities, fostering innovation within the biochemistry team. Requirements Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.Proven experience as a Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist with NHS laboratory experience.Familiarity with WinPath Enterprise.Experience using Roche e801, c702, and potentially c703 analysers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic laboratory environment.Strong analytical and organisational skills. Desirable Experience using Tosoh G11 analysers for HbA1c analysis.Previous Band 6 Biochemistry experience.Experience within an acute hospital laboratory environment.
