Internal Sales Executive (Logistics / Freight Forwarding / EU Trade)Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire Salary Package: Up to £30,000 (dependent on experience) About the Role:A brilliant opportunity to join a fast-paced and progressive logistics business where your contribution will be valued, noticed, and appreciated. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, relationship-building, and winning new business through confident outbound telephone engagement.Working as part of a small, supportive sales team, you will maximise the potential of new and existing clients, negotiate with clients and suppliers, and convert quotations into profitable business. You will also advise customers on customs formalities required to move goods to and from the European Union. Key Requirements include: Proactively developing new business through outbound calls and relationship-led sales.Managing and growing existing accounts through strong communication and service.Submitting quotations, overcoming objections, and converting opportunities into confirmed orders.Negotiating with clients and suppliers to achieve strong commercial outcomes.Supporting customers with EU customs formalities (import / export) as part of the sales process.Attending a weekly sales meeting and participating in client meetings (Teams or face-to-face). The successful candidate will have a friendly and confident telephone manner, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong negotiation ability, good attention to detail, and a positive, driven mindset.
