Working on a significant infrastructure investment programme, you will lead the delivery of civil and structural design packages associated with critical dock readiness and nuclear infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities Lead a small team of engineers and designers delivering civil and structural work packages.Manage technical design packages from concept through to handover.Ensure delivery to scope, quality, schedule and cost requirements.Act as the technical focal point for stakeholders and project teams.Review and assess seismic design documentation.Ensure compliance with quality, safety and engineering governance processes.Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Experience Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.Chartered Engineer (or demonstrably working at Chartered level).15+ years' experience in Civil and Structural Engineering.Experience delivering complex infrastructure, marine, rail, defence or heavy industrial projects.Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.Strong background in structural design and substantiation of heavy civil engineering structures.Experience working within highly regulated environments.Understanding of engineering design, safety and quality management processes. Desirable Experience Dry dock, marine or waterfront structure experience.Nuclear sector experience.Knowledge of American seismic codes including ACI 349-19, ASCE 4-16 and ASCE 43-19.Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities.Familiarity with industrial building and building services design.
