Group General Manager – Premium Dining Location: South West, with travel to London Salary: £70,000–£90,000 plus bonusI’m looking for a Group General Manager to lead up to five premium restaurants across the South West and London.This is a growing, owner-led group with individual concepts, strong foundations and plenty of ambition. You’ll work closely with the owners and site GMs, bringing the team together, strengthening performance and making sure the detail is right in every restaurant.You’ll need to love being in the restaurants, supporting your managers and leading from the floor, while keeping a clear view of the numbers.The role: Oversee day-to-day performance across up to five premium restaurantsSupport and develop the GMs, giving them clear direction and accountabilityDrive service standards, guest experience and consistency while protecting each restaurant’s identityBring the structure and attention to detail expected in Michelin-standard environmentsTake ownership of financial performance, budgets and cost control across the groupBuild strong teams, with a focus on retention, development and successionImprove systems and processes as the business growsWork closely with the owners on restaurant performance and future plans The person: An experienced Group GM, multi-site leader or Senior GM ready to take the next stepA strong premium dining background, ideally within Michelin-standard or similarly exacting restaurantsCommercially confident and comfortable taking ownership of the P&LA visible, hands-on leader who still gets a kick out of serviceAble to coach, challenge and bring out the best in your managersExperience within an owner-operated business would be a real advantageAmbitious, collaborative and comfortable travelling between the South West and London Sounds like you? What you will do Lead and coordinate Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in accordance with the Care Act 2014.Undertake complex assessments of risk, need, capacity, and protective factors for adults with care and support needs.Develop, implement, and review safeguarding plans that are outcome-focused and person-centred.Screen and triage safeguarding concerns, gathering and analysing information to inform decision-making.Work collaboratively with health services, police, housing providers, care organisations, and voluntary agencies within multi-agency safeguarding frameworks. Person SpecificationQualifications: Degree in Social Work (BA, MA, DipSW or equivalent recognised qualification).Successful completion of Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) where applicable.Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Registration & Compliance: Current registration with Social Work England (SWE). Experience: Previous experience within a UK Local Authority Adult Social Care setting.Experience undertaking adult safeguarding enquiries and managing complex cases.
