Yard Operative in Deeside

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established recycling business in their search for a Yard Operative to work in Deeside.

Job Details:

• Pay: £34,000 per annum

• Hours of Work: 5:30am –4pm Monday to Thursday, 5:30am–2pm Friday

• Duration: Permanent

• Benefits: Pension, 23 days holiday + bank holidays, staff canteen, free drinks onsite

Job Role:
As a Yard Operative, your primary responsibilities will include sorting and categorising aluminium metal based on quality and grade. You will prepare loads for dispatch using a Forklift Truck (FLT), ensuring all loads are accurately labelled and safely transported. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised yard to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• FLT Counterbalance licence (highly desirable)

• Candidates must be able to drive or live within walking distance due to lack of public transport to site
