Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour
Shifts: Monday-Friday: Rotating shifts – 6:00am to 2:00pm / 2:00pm to 10:00pm
Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours per week

We are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established and nationally recognised retail brand. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy, high-performing warehouse team where reliability, hard work, and commitment are valued.

This is a physically demanding role and requires candidates who are comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting on a daily basis.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring goods are picked, prepared, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. The position involves manual handling of heavy and bulky items, as well as supporting with container and trailer operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order picking using Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including LLOPs and pump trucks

• Using handheld scanners to accurately pick and process stock

• Loading and unloading trailers

• Tipping containers and moving stock safely within the warehouse

• Handling heavy and oversized items

• Ensuring all goods are handled safely and in line with health & safety procedures

• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ warehouse experience

• Be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling

• Be confident working in a fast-paced environment

• Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking

• Be able to work rotating shifts

• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills

• Have experience using MHE (preferred but training can be provided)

Please note: This is a physically demanding role involving regular heavy lifting, loading/unloading trailers, and moving bulky items. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work throughout the shift.
