Not all Teaching Assistant roles are created equal.

We are looking for a strong, experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant who knows Early Years inside out — someone who can walk into a busy classroom of 20–30 little learners and instantly become the calm, capable, go-to person.

This isn’t a “sit on the carpet and supervise” role.

This is hands-on. Fast-paced. Hugely rewarding.

Who We’re Really Looking For

You might be:

• An experienced Teaching Assistant ready for a school that values your expertise
• A qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS) looking to step back from full class responsibility
• A professional who thrives in Early Years and understands how critical these first steps are

You’ll need to be confident supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day rhythm of an Early Years setting — phonics, continuous provision, structured play, behaviour guidance, parent communication and everything in between.

The Role

• Supporting the class teacher with a class of 20–30 pupils
• Delivering small group interventions
• Providing 1:1 support when needed
• Contributing to planning and adapting activities
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
• Being a steady, knowledgeable presence in a lively Early Years classroom

You won’t just assist — you’ll actively shape the learning environment.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Degree in psychology or related fields
• Level 3 qualification or degree
• Strong previous experience as a TA or in teaching
• Confident managing groups independently
• Deep understanding of EYFS framework
• Proactive, resilient, organised
• Warm but firm — you know how to balance nurture with structure
