Seeking a Tractor Driver in Preston, UK for a locum position. You will be operating tractors and street cleansing/horticultural vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes (7.5 tonnes if your licence allows) across various beautiful locations in the city. You will fulfil a variety of environmental and horticultural duties, making every day a new adventure. This exciting role offers an hourly wage to be confirmed. Full-time and part-time roles available, with the flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

What you will do:
- Operate tractors and other horticultural equipment for tasks such as cutting, flailing, towing, and lifting, ensuring high-quality results.
- Maintain and groom grassed areas, hedges, and public spaces under the responsibility of the PCC.
- Join forces with a team or work independently to manage waste removal, graffiti cleaning, and fly-tipping disposal.
- Drive a variety of vehicles for the Parks and Streetscene department, always adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Embrace new tech like data transfer equipment and GPS to streamline your tasks.
- Assist in event prep, from setting up to deconstructing, and support football pitch renovations.
- Help with logistics, such as transporting deliveries and heavy loads, especially supporting the tree team.
- Engage in overtime during bank holidays, evenings, and weekends if required, ensuring you are rewarded for your dedication.
