What You Will Do:

  • Lead and Supervise a team of Social Workers and practitioners, ensuring high-quality services are delivered effectively.

  • Oversee the decision-making process for referrals, ensuring assessments are prioritised and managed efficiently.

  • Collaborate with key services such as health, education, and police to deliver a holistic, comprehensive approach to supporting children and families.

  • Ensure efficient operation of the Duty and Assessment Team, meeting service delivery targets and maintaining high standards.

  • Foster a culture of development, learning, and reflective practice within your team.

  • Participate in internal audits and service reviews to maintain the quality of service and practice.

  • Engage with external partners and stakeholders to improve outcomes for children and families, especially those with complex needs.
