What you will do:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Court Progression Team, ensuring effective safeguarding practice.
- Manage, supervise, and develop a team of social workers and personal advisors.
- Provide strategic leadership in line with statutory guidance, policy, and council objectives.
- Oversee workload allocation, performance management, and service delivery standards.
- Monitor budgets and ensure efficient use of resources within the team.
- Build strong partnerships with internal departments, external agencies, and third-sector organisations.
- Chair supervision meetings and maintain oversight of case quality and progression.
- Attend court and multi-agency meetings, ensuring robust and timely care planning.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and maintain high standards of practice across the service.
