Unlock your potential with this thrilling opportunity! A London Borough of Brent is seeking an exceptional Social Worker to join the Child Protection Court Team. Situated in the dynamic area of Wembley, this role will be based at The Brent Civic Centre (HA9 0FJ). This position offers flexibility with core working hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with several options to accommodate your lifestyle such as 8am-6pm for four days a week, 8am-4pm, or 9am-6pm. Part-time options are also available.

What you will do:
- Carry out Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk assessments.
- Conduct Section 47 Child Protection investigations.
- Write detailed statements for court proceedings.
- Complete Section 7 and Section 37 reports for court.
- Represent the authority in court to provide crucial evidence.
- Perform home visits for monitoring purposes and to safeguard children.
- Keep comprehensive case recordings up to date.
- Convene and chair core group meetings.
- Liaise and collaborate with other professionals.
- Conduct joint investigations and interviews with the police.
- Initiate and see care proceedings through to completion.
- Implement and review Care Plans, ensuring they meet the needs of children.
- Supervise contact between children and families.
- Write and present case conference reports.
- Attend case conferences and strategy meetings.
- Complete Child in Need plans.
