Ready to teach a subject that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful discussion every single day?
A leading secondary school in Central London is seeking an exceptional Teacher of Religious Studies & Philosophy to join its highly respected Humanities Faculty from September 2026.
This is far more than a traditional RS teaching role. Lessons regularly spark lively debate as students explore topics ranging from justice and free will to religion, identity, human rights, and the meaning of existence.
The successful candidate will join a department that is highly valued within the school community and plays a central role in developing thoughtful, reflective, and intellectually confident young people. Student engagement is exceptional, with many choosing to continue their studies at GCSE and A-Level due to the department's reputation for inspiring teaching and academic success.
You will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5, delivering lessons that encourage students to question, analyse, and think independently.
