What you will do
- Provide expert substance misuse advice and support as a Non-Medical Prescriber to service users in need.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Prescribe appropriate medication to manage withdrawal symptoms and support clients in their recovery journeys.
- Deliver health education to patients, promoting healthier lifestyles and supporting long-term recovery.
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
- Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification: Must hold a recognised Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
- Substance Misuse Experience: Previous experience working within substance misuse services is highly desirable.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of addiction treatment, recovery pathways, and prescribing practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues.
