What you will do:
- Engage and work with individuals who have complex and diverse communication profiles.
- Apply your expert knowledge and skills in specialist areas relevant to our paediatric cohort.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while adhering to RCSLT Communication Standards.
- Communicate effectively with families, relatives, and carers, ensuring holistic support.
- Employ various SaLT assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Formulate tailored support plans based on individual needs.
- Contribute to neurodiversity-awareness and trauma-informed practice.
- Participate in ongoing training to further develop skills relevant to the client group.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- HCPC Registration: Must hold valid HCPC registration.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar paediatric SEMH setting is essential.
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required to travel between work sites.
- Professional Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaLT assessment tools, intervention strategies, neurodiversity, and trauma-informed practice.
