What You Will Do
- Undertake timely and comprehensive assessments of children, young people, and families, identifying risks, needs, and appropriate interventions.
- Manage a varied caseload while ensuring high-quality, child-centred social work practice.
- Develop and implement effective plans to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including education, health, police, and community services.
- Prepare detailed assessments, reports, and records in line with statutory requirements and local procedures.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to families during periods of crisis and change.
- Attend strategy meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings where required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
