What you will do
- Conduct thorough and timely reviews of children's circumstances, plans, and outcomes, ensuring interventions remain effective and child-centred.
- Engage directly with children, young people, and families to understand their needs and preferences, reflecting these in assessments and reviews.
- Analyse and respond to changes in family circumstances, assessing risk and prioritising children's welfare.
- Participate in the Access & Duty response to new concerns, performing initial risk assessments and safeguarding interventions when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with professionals across education, health, police, and other partner agencies to coordinate support.
- Manage a caseload while maintaining accurate and robust records to support statutory responsibilities.
- Develop and contribute to child protection plans, core groups, and multi-agency meetings.
- Advocate for children's rights and promote a strengths-based approach in all areas of practice.
