What you will do

Manage a caseload of children, ensuring your statutory duties are met within the necessary timescales.
Conduct thorough assessments, statutory visits, and contribute to permanence and pathway planning.
Develop child-centric care plans that ensure safety and promote well-being and stability.
Work in partnership with foster carers, residential providers, health services, and other key agencies to ensure holistic care for the children.
Compile detailed reports and professional assessments to be used in court proceedings and reviews.

Person Specification

Recognised qualification in Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
Track record in Children's Social Care.
Proven experience with children in care or similar settings is essential.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Registration with Social Work England is required.
