What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk assessments.
- Perform Section 47 Child protection investigations, maintaining detailed and current case recordings.
- Prepare and submit court documents such as Statements, Section 7 and 37 reports, and represent the authority in legal settings.
- Implement and review Care Plans while supervising contact and writing thorough case conference reports.
- Attend and actively participate in case conferences and strategy meetings.
- Engage with other professionals to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to safeguarding children.
- Perform home visits to monitor welfare and carry out joint investigations with police when necessary.
- Initiate and oversee care proceedings, ensuring the best outcomes for each child.
