Social Worker – Adults First Response Team in Warrington, earning £34 per hour for a full-time position over 3 months. What you will do:

Screen and triage social care referrals, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses.
Manage short-term caseloads effectively and conduct Care Act 2014 assessments to determine eligibility.
Complete Mental Capacity assessments and undertake Best Interest decisions.
Conduct safeguarding screenings and S42 enquiries, addressing concerns quickly and effectively.
Engage in Continuing Health Care processes and complete carers assessments.
Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and partner agencies to provide a holistic and strengths-based social work service.
Apply key legislation such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act to your daily practice.
