Seven Resourcing is recruiting for two experienced Adults Social Workers to join a busy Adult Social Care service in Somerset. This role has been created due to recruitment challenges within the team.

We are seeking qualified Social Workers with strong experience in adult social care, multi-disciplinary working, and strengths-based practice. The role involves working with adults with a range of care and support needs, ensuring effective assessment, planning, and safeguarding interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of adults within Adult Social Care
• Undertake strengths-based assessments and support planning
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
• Carry out safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments
• Support adults with a range of needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex care needs
• Work in partnership with health services, voluntary organisations, and other agencies
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation in line with statutory requirements
• Contribute to care reviews and ongoing support planning
• Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for service users
• Use IT systems effectively for recording, reporting, and data management
• Participate in duty systems and respond to urgent adult safeguarding concerns

Requirements:

• Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent)
• Social Work England registration
• Experience in Adult Social Care (essential)
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and relevant legislation
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environments
• Good IT skills for case recording and information management
• Strong communication, assessment, and report writing skills
