What you will do:

- Lead and manage a team of social workers focused on Connected Persons Assessments, Regulation 24 assessments, and viability assessments.
- Ensure assessments are thorough, analytical, relationship-based, and completed within statutory timescales.
- Support the team in presenting assessments to fostering panels and provide quality assurance for high standards of practice.
- Manage the team's involvement in court proceedings, offering guidance on complex cases and decision-making.
- Oversee the supervision and support provided to Kinship Foster Carers, ensuring they can provide high-quality care that helps children thrive.
- Allocate and oversee team duties effectively, including participating in duty arrangements.
- Promote a culture of reflective practice, learning, and continuous improvement within the team.
