What you will do:
- Lead and support learning and development projects across Adult Social Care.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training and development programmes.
- Coordinate the ASYE programme and provide practice education support.
- Advise senior managers on social work education and workforce development strategies.
- Support social workers and students through structured professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with universities and partner organisations on social work education initiatives.
- Monitor social work student placements to ensure academic and practice standards are met.
- Produce reports and performance information related to workforce development.
Essential Requirements:
- Recognised Social Work qualification (such as CQSW, DipSW, Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Stage 2 Practice Educator qualification (PEPs).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills with effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience supporting the professional development of social workers or students.
