What you will do:
• Lead swift, high-quality decision-making at the front door.
• Manage complex cases and risk with clarity and confidence.
• Drive timely, proportionate interventions to prevent escalation.
• Run duty and triage referrals based on urgency and need.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and oversight to Social Workers, SCPs, OTs and OTAs.
• Uphold high standards of practice across the team in a pressured environment.
What you'll bring:
• Proven experience in high-volume, fast-moving environments.
• Expert risk management – confident making defensible decisions at pace.
• Strong triage and screening skills – knowing what matters, when it matters.
• Skilled in complex assessments like MCA, Best Interests, and safeguarding.
• Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and act quickly without compromising quality.
• Confident multidisciplinary working, influencing across teams and partners.
• Experienced in supervising and developing Social Workers, SCPs, OTs and OTAs.
• Natural leader and mentor, driving performance and accountability.
