We are working with a well-established and growing equipment hire business looking to recruit an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join their friendly Bristol team. About the Role:

As a Small Tools Fitter, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of small tools and plant equipment.

Typical equipment will include:

• Generators
• Power tools
• Whacker plates
• Small plant machinery

Duties of the Small Tools Fitter will include:

• Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Preparing equipment for hire
• Ensuring equipment meets health and safety standards
• Keeping accurate service records
• Supporting the workshop team when required

This Small Tools Fitter role would suit someone with previous experience working within the plant hire, tool hire, construction, or powered access industries.

To be successful in the Small Tools Fitter role, you may have:

• Experience repairing small tools or plant machinery
• Good mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience working on generators, power tools, or compaction equipment
• A positive and reliable attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
