Slinger Signaller in Avonmouth, South West

VGC Group are recruiting for a Slinger / Signaller to join our client's team in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Duties include:
- Experience responsible for attaching and detaching the load to and from the lifting equipment and the correct selection and use of lifting accessories
- Responsible for directing the lifting equipment operator to ensure safe movement of the lifting equipment and load.
- Full understanding of safely guiding cranes using various appropriate methods.
- Positioning vehicles to allow them to unload safely and in the desired location.

Key Skills, Experience and Certificates:
- Demonstrable and logged experience in guiding cranes of various types and grades.
- CPCS Slinger/Signaller Training - A40 or NPORS Slinger/Signaller - N402 Training (essential)
- LOLER (essential)
- Safety Critical Medical (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Slinger / Signaller 9 (desirable)
- Clear communication skills


This role is offered on a long term contract basis (PAYE).
Monday- Thursday 7am-3:00pm
Friday- 7am - 2:00pm
