Site Transport Controller in Bootle, North West

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Site Transport Controller to work in Bootle.

Job Details:

• Pay: £13.45 per hour
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm, Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Duration: Temporary (approximately 3 months)
• Benefits: Paid breaks

Job Role: As a Site Transport Controller, you will control vehicle access to site, manage visiting drivers, check driver notes against manifests, issue passes, direct traffic to the correct areas, ensure drivers are wearing the correct PPE, explain site rules, monitor CCTV, report incidents and near misses, assist with Banksman duties, and support the logistics department with loading and unloading during busy periods.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience within transport or logistics operations
• Good IT and organisational skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Experience working as a Site Transport Controller or similar

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• NEBOSH or similar health and safety qualification
• Banksman training

• Temporary assignment expected to last approximately three months initially.
