COREcruitment is partnering with one of London's best-run premium restaurant groups to find a Senior Sous Chef for its large, high-volume site in central London. Everything is cooked fresh on site every day in open kitchens, the group is a certified B Corp with several central London sites, and new openings are on the way. Senior Sous Chef is the pipeline for Head Chef here, and this is a role built for someone who wants to be next.

The Senior Sous Chef role

Be the reliable number two to the Head Chef and run the kitchen in their absence
Lead service across a 100+ seat dining room and a 60-seat private dining room
Oversee prep, ordering and stock control
Train, mentor and develop the brigade
Keep food quality, hygiene and consistency tight

About you

Senior Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, fresh-food kitchen
Confident running busy services solo
Strong on stock control, food safety and team development
A calm, hands-on leader

The package

50k total package
Bonus of up to 5k a year, paid six-monthly
Team retention bonus
Up to 55.5k a year with full bonus
48-hour contract averaging 45 to 48 hours, moving to 45 hours within the next year
