What You Will Do

Conduct high-quality assessments to identify the needs, risks, and strengths of children and their families.

Develop Family Plans using restorative, strengths-based, and relationship-focused practices.

Deliver targeted early help interventions aimed at preventing escalation to Child Protection or Care proceedings.

Provide intensive support, including home visits, direct work with children, and ongoing family engagement.

Identify and respond swiftly to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and welfare of children at all times.

Manage a complex caseload, ensuring robust planning, risk management, and accurate documentation.

Offer mentoring, guidance, and practice support to Social Workers and Family Practitioners within the team.

Work in close partnership with multi-agency professionals to ensure coordinated and effective support.

Maintain high professional standards and engage actively in supervision and continuous learning.
