An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join the Children’s Leaving Care Team in Barnet. Role Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex cases for young people aged 16 to 25, conducting assessments and pathway planning in line with the Children (Leaving Care) Act.

• Empower young people by championing their voices and co-producing plans that reflect their aspirations.

• Lead safeguarding assessments and collaborate across multi-agency teams on high-risk cases.

• Support young people in developing resilience and independence, ensuring successful transitions into education, employment, and secure accommodation.

• Provide practice leadership, mentoring Social Workers and Personal Advisers, and overseeing quality assurance processes.
